ESPL 2021 Group D Day 8 Round 3 concludes, top teams qualify for next stage

The eighth day of ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D ended with the top three teams from each group qualifying for the next stage. The round 3 qualifiers started with the top teams from round 2 competing with each other. ESPL 2021 is a franchise-based league announced by India Today Gaming, the gaming and esports division of India Today Group. The tournament features a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 distributed among the top 8 teams in the grand finals scheduled to be held on 29th August 2021. The tournament will feature more than 700 matches and 300 hours of gaming content
Level 1 Group D Round 3
The top teams from the previous stage competed in round 3 of the ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D stage. Each team will play a total of four matches in round 3 of the league. The matches will be played in Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari maps. An overall standing will be created considering the points of all the matches. The top three teams from the overall standings will qualify for the next round.
ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D Round 3 Match Overview
IMP were the winners of the first group matches. A total of 4 matches were played where the team scored 105 total points and 40 kill points. SNB eSports finished at the second spot with 104 points followed by Last Hope ESP with 101 points.
DR3M2 was won by PVS Gaming, they secured a total of 150 points. SVG eSports and All Stars finished at the second and third spots respectively. EXM won the DR3M3 group stage and scored a total of 103 points. The team took 32 kill points. Biowar-TN and 4 Hunters finished at the second and third spot respectively.
The fourth group match of the day was won by Ninjas in pyjamas. The squad were the table toppers of the DR3M4 round with a total of 130 points and 40 kill points. President’s took the second spot with 123 points followed by 1 & only with a total of 119 points.
