Microsoft rolls out Sept. Xbox Update after revealing Game Pass titles; Series S discounted at Flipkart Big Billion Day Sale

A number of announcements on Xbox have surfaced this week. The streak began with the announcement of the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month, which includes Deathloop, and Valheim. Within hours of the reveal of the Game Pass game list for September, Microsoft rolled out the new September systems update for Xbox Series and Xbox One consoles. And now, Xbox Series S is part of the ongoing Big Billion Day Sale on Flipkart. Indian gamers will be able to grab the Xbox Series S once again, at an impressive discount from Flipkart right now. Deathloop and Valheim joins Xbox Game Pass this September

Xbox revealed the new set of games that will be joining Xbox Game Pass this month on 20th September. The critically acclaimed Deathloop from Bethesda Softworks, which up until now was a PlayStation exclusive, has finally launched on Xbox. It is available right now on Game Pass, for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Cloud gaming. Hardspace: Shipbreaker has also joined Game Pass and is now available for Xbox Series X/S and Cloud. Additionally, new DLCs and updates have also been added to Game Pass. This includes Jurassic World Evolution 2: Late Cretaceous Pack, and Sniper Elite 5: Concealed Target Weapon & Skin Pack both of which are now available. Sea of Thieves: The Siren’s Prize DLC will land on September 29, while FIFA 23 will bring The World’s Game on September 27th. The Xbox App on PC has also received a new update.

Xbox rolls out Systems Update for September

Moving ahead, Xbox’s new system update for September is quite a big one at that, bringing multiple changes. The library has been revamped once again, to include the Full Library view which rearranges games according to categories like All Games, Owned Games, and Xbox Game Pass. You can now change installation locations of the games and apps you download onto your system, from the options available to you. The Xbox Game Bar will now allow to share contents like links and captures directly, from a new widget that is now a part of it. The “Party Chat” has also received some new updates like Noise Suppression for Chats on Xbox One and Windows 11/10 PCs. That is in addition to the new Social tab, which can be used to kickstart a Party via the Xbox App. You can learn more about the new features coming via the September Update on the official blogpost.  

Xbox Series S available at discount on Flipkart

Now, coming to Flipkart’s Big Billion Day Sale, we’ve already mentioned that the Xbox Series S console is available at a discount. The Series S, which is originally priced at Rs 34,990 in India, is now available at Rs 29,990. That’s a discount of 14%. The unit comes with a controller, and the console obviously features the 10GB GDDR6 RAM. While the Big Billion Day Sale starts at 12 am on 23rd September, the purchase for the Series S already mentions “Hurry, only a few left!”. That’s probably for the Flipkart Plus Members who can avail the discount, and the high demand and shortage of Xbox consoles right now.
