Spider-Man 2 voice actor claims the game to be ‘astonishing’ and says the studio is confident about release date in Fall 2023
Spider-Man 2 star confirms that he is still working on the upcoming sequel of Spider-Man. He further claimed the game to be ‘massive’ and ‘astonishing’.
Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor for Peter Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, says he is currently working on the game's upcoming sequel. Furthermore, he entitled the game to be ‘massive’ and ‘astonishing’. Spider-Man 2 is a PlayStation 5 console game created by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel Games and Playstation. The game is expected to be launched this Fall.
Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man had a great response from its fans when it was released. As a result of this, expectations for the game's upcoming sequel are high.
Spider-Man 2 is on track for 2023
As initially planned by Insomniac Games, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is on track to be released this Fall.
“I’ve still got a little bit to do. It’s a massive game so I’m still doing a little bit of work”, Yuri Lowenthal stated in an interview with Comic Book Movie. “I know they’re being confident about their release date and Insomniac has always been good about that”, he added.
The voice actor also stated that he cannot discuss the game at this time, but that it is “astonishing”. So far, Insomniac Games has not revealed any details about the sequel officially.
“I’m so excited for you to play it. They know they’ve got big shoes to fill from the last two games and they’ve done it. I just can’t wait for people to play it”, Lowenthal said.
The Spider-Man 2 game will feature Tony Todd (of Candyman flame) as the voice actor for Venom while Nadji Jeter will be the voice behind Miles Morales. This sequel will give a captivating human story, full of heart and humor, that delves deep into the people behind the mask, in addition to a terrific Super Hero adventure, as stated in a blog by PlayStation.
Wolverine: The Upcoming Marvel Game
Insomniac Games is bringing another game, Wolverine, created in collaboration with PlayStation and Marvel Games. Wolverine is currently in the works. The Mutant with adamantium claws would star in the PS5 game. Brian Horton and Cameron Christian will be directing the game as a stand-alone.
