Fortnite Galactic Battle Update: Release Date, Events, Skins and More; Star Wars is Taking Over

Starting May 2, Fortnite players will be able to experience everything that is included in the GALACTIC BATTLE. While we understand it can be tough to keep a tab on what the next Fortnite update is going to look like.
It's May and you know what that means. The Fortnite Galactic Battle update is coming. Since Fortnite is known for its amazing collaborations, this one will be no different. Starting May 2, Fortnite players will be able to experience everything that is included in the GALACTIC BATTLE. While we understand it can be tough to keep a tab on what the next Fortnite update is going to look like, the patch notes can give a sense of what you can expect from the game.
This GALACTIC BATTLE update will be in the game and along with that, you will be able to see multiple in-game cosmetics including skins and events. Here is everything you need to know about the GALACTIC BATTLE update.

Fortnite Galactic Battle Update Release Date
Right before May 4, the Galactic Battle update will be released in the game on May 2, 2025. Since there is an update every few days, you should expect a huge array of content surrounding the gameplay environment. Here is a list of all the key updates you will be able to see in this update:
- The legendary Mace Windu will make his way into the game on May 8. You will get to witness his Lightsaber and Force abilities. Besides that, you will also be able to unlock the Jedi Master.
- Chewbacca will also make his way into the game on May 15 Chewbacca and his Wookiee Bowcaster will be coming to the game.
- Mandalorian will also be added to the update. An array of Mandalorian characters will be added to the game.

- All-purpose A280-CFE Blaster Rifle
- (unvaulted) Highly accurate DC-15 Heavy Blaster Rifle
- (unvaulted) Empire standard Issue E-11 Blaster
- (unvaulted) First Order standard issue F-11 Blaster
