Back to life: Guide for character revival in Baldur's Gate 3

Players are anxiously launching into the Dungeon & Dragons-inspired world of the long-awaited RPG Baldur's Gate 3 to create their characters, find allies, and, of course, engage in plenty of monster combat.

Many of the monsters you'll encounter in the game will be familiar D&D adversaries, such as Mind Flayers and Imps, and you may occasionally need to revive characters while engaged in combat.

How to bring characters back to life in Baldur's Gate 3?

Players can revive characters in Baldur's Gate 3 in a few distinct ways, both of which are described here.

Activate a Scroll of Revivfy

Using a Scroll of Revivfy is one method in Baldur's Gate 3 for reviving a character. If one of your comrades dies in battle, you can use them to rapidly restore them. As long as they have the item in their inventory, any character in the game is able to use the spell.

Simply go to your inventory when you're ready to use it, then utilise the Scroll of Revivify just like any other item. Selecting your dead colleague will bring them back to life after the spell has been cast and an AoE has appeared on the screen.

Communicate with the Hooded Skeleton.

The Hooded Skeleton in the game is another method for reviving characters. But first, you'll have to release him in the ‘Overgrown Ruins’ mission before you may choose to have him join your camp. To resuscitate a character with the Talkative Skeleton, adhere to these steps:

1. Wait until the fight is ended and then fast-travel to your camp if a character was killed in it.
2. Get in touch with the Hooded Skeleton near the shore.
3. For 200 gold, he will offer to revive any character for you.
4. After the deal is completed, your ally will fully recover and reappear at camp prepared to embark on another mission.
