Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Classic Prestige System Returns – Rewards and Levels Explained

Treyarch is bringing back the classic Prestige system in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, stepping away from the seasonal progression we’ve seen since 2019's Modern Warfare. What’s Prestige All About in Black Ops 6?

As soon as Black Ops 6 servers go live, you’ll be able to start climbing through 10 Prestige levels with no season reset to slow you down. If you’re new to Prestige, here’s the deal:

• Once you hit Level 55, you can reset back to Level 1 to earn your Prestige rank.
• All your unlocks (weapons, perks, etc.) will be reset and you’ll need to unlock them again.
• However, your lifetime stats stay intact (though you’ll only see the stats for the Prestige you’re currently on).

The best part? After hitting Prestige 10, there are 1,000 additional levels to grind, with loads of exclusive rewards waiting at the top.

Prestige Permanent Unlocks

Every time you hit a new Prestige level, you’ll receive a permanent unlock token, letting you pick any item between Levels 1 and 55 to unlock forever. These tokens are a lifesaver for quickly grabbing your favorite gear without having to grind for it every time you reset.
