Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 supports Crossplay and Cross-Progression across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Learn how to team up with friends, add players using Activision ID, and disable Crossplay.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is packed with unlockable content, and whether you’re rolling solo or teaming up with friends, the Crossplay feature is here to make sure no one gets left behind! Since Modern Warfare (2019), Crossplay has been a staple in the franchise, but with the launch of Black Ops 6, some players still have questions about how it works. Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered!

Is Black Ops 6 Crossplay and Cross-Platform?

Absolutely! Black Ops 6 supports both Crossplay and Cross-Platform play, meaning you can team up with friends on any platform—whether they’re on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. The easiest way to add friends is by using their Activision ID through the in-game system, but you can also add them via your console or Battle.net on PC.

Is Cross-Progression Possible?

Yes, it does! Black Ops 6 features Cross-Progression, which means your progress carries over across all platforms. Just link your console and PC accounts to the same Activision account, and you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off, no matter where you play.

So go ahead, squad up or fly solo—Black Ops 6 has you covered with all the flexibility you need!

How To Add Friends Using heir Activision ID:

    •    Head to the Social Tab in-game.
    •    Select “Add Friends.”
    •    Enter their Activision ID.

How to Turn Off Crossplay in Black Ops 6

Want to fly solo without mixing with players from other platforms? You can turn off Crossplay, but only on consoles—sorry, PC players! Here’s how you can disable Crossplay on PlayStation and Xbox:

Xbox

    1.    Open the console’s Settings menu.
    2.    Go to ‘Online Safety & Family.’
    3.    Select ‘Privacy & Online Safety,’ then ‘Xbox Privacy.’
    4.    Scroll to ‘View Details and Customize.’
    5.    Block Crossplay by selecting ‘You Can Join Cross-Network Play.’

PlayStation

    1.    Launch Black Ops 6.
    2.    Go to the in-game Settings.
    3.    Open the ‘Account & Network’ section.
    4.    Switch Crossplay to ‘Off.’

Just keep in mind, turning off Crossplay may lead to longer matchmaking times and higher ping due to the smaller player pool.
