A new report reveals that buying every Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundle from Seasons 1 & 2 would cost over $1,000. Fans criticize unrealistic skins & high prices.

A new breakdown has revealed that Black Ops 6 players would need to spend over $1,000 to buy every bundle released in the game’s first two seasons. The Call of Duty franchise has long relied on cosmetic sales for extra revenue, but Black Ops 6 has taken things to a whole new level with collaborations, themed events, and an ever-growing number of store bundles.

Out-of-Place Cosmetics Spark Controversy

Despite being set in the early ‘90s, Black Ops 6 has introduced some pretty wild operator skins and cosmetics. Players have been vocal about their frustration with the unrealistic designs, as the game quickly added neon green dragons, glowing red operators, and more over-the-top outfits. Recent updates have doubled down on this trend, bringing in pop culture icons like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Terminator.

The True Cost of Call of Duty Bundles

A Twitter user, Detonated, recently crunched the numbers (via Stockpile Bundle Tracker) and found that it costs approximately $1,400 to buy every bundle released in Black Ops 6’s first two seasons. That’s 190,400 COD Points in total, with 56 bundles from Season 1 adding up to 108,100 COD Points and 41 bundles from Season 2 costing another 82,300 Points. And with many more seasons still ahead, that number is only going to rise.

Players Push Back on High Prices

The rising cost of in-game content has become a major talking point within the community. The recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event was a prime example—anyone looking to collect all four Ninja Turtle operators and the premium Event Pass had to shell out nearly $100.

Another recent controversy involved the Mastercraft: Radiant Blight bundle, initially priced at 3,300 COD Points in the game’s files, which would have made it the most expensive bundle in Call of Duty history. The final release price was lowered slightly to 3,000 COD Points (around $27), but it still remains one of the priciest cosmetics available.

What’s Next?

With Call of Duty’s bundles getting more expensive each season, players are wondering just how high the prices will go. While Black Ops 6 continues to roll out new content and collaborations, the backlash over unrealistic skins and costly cosmetics isn’t going away anytime soon.
