Learn every way to get the rare Death Flower in Sims 4, from grafting and cheats to fishing and magic shops. Essential for reviving Sims and crafting Ambrosia in the Life and Death expansion.

This rare plant can revive Sims, help craft the life-restoring Ambrosia, and even win you points with the Grim Reaper himself. So, if you’re exploring the new Life and Death expansion, here’s a breakdown of every way to get this elusive flower.

All the Ways to Score a Death Flower

There are a few different ways to get your hands on a Death Flower, from mastering gardening to dabbling in magic shops—or even using cheats. Here’s how each method stacks up.

The Gardener’s Path: Grafting Plants

If your Sim has a green thumb, growing a Death Flower is absolutely doable. Here’s how to work your way up to it:

  1. Hit Gardening Level 5: You’ll need a bit of gardening skill for this one.
  2. Create an Orchid: Graft a Lily with a Snapdragon. You can find these flowers scattered in Willow Creek.
  3. Create a Pomegranate: Graft an Apple with a Cherry. Apples are easy to get from seed packets, while Cherries can be found in Oasis Springs.
  4. Produce a Death Flower: Once you have both an Orchid and a Pomegranate, graft them together, and boom—you’ll have a Death Flower.

You can also have your Sim research Death Flowers online and chat with plants to pick up some extra gardening tips.

Use Cheats for an Instant Death Flower

If gardening’s not your thing, cheats are your best friend. Here’s how:

  1. Open the cheat menu with Ctrl + Shift + C, type testingcheats true, and hit Enter.
  2. Then type bb.showhiddenobjects, switch to Build/Buy mode, and search for the Death Flower—it’ll cost 1,200 Simoleons.

Buy Rare Seed Packets or Shop in Caster’s Alley

When your Gardening skill reaches Level 10, you can purchase rare seed packets online for 1,000 Simoleons. There’s a small chance one of these will contain a Death Flower. Alternatively, if you have the Realm of Magic expansion, head to the potion ingredients shop in Caster’s Alley. They’ll occasionally have Death Flowers in stock, so keep an eye out!

Other Rare Ways: Fishing and Wishing

While not the most reliable, these methods can also score you a Death Flower:

  • Fishing: Cast a line and hope for the best. It’s a long shot, but luck might be on your side.
  • Wishing Well: With the Romantic Garden Stuff Pack, ghost Sims can wish on the well for a chance to receive a Death Flower.

Wrap-Up: Life, Death, and Death Flowers

Now you’re all set to bring some life back to your Sims (or charm the Grim Reaper). Whether you choose gardening, cheats, or a well-timed trip to Caster’s Alley, there’s a way to fit the Death Flower into your Sims 4 journey. Enjoy bringing your Sims back to life—or just adding a little extra magic to their lives.
