It's been an eternity since we had a new James Bond game, but IO Interactive-the legendary team behind Hitman-is breathing new life into the iconic spy with a brand new title codenamed Project 007.

Fortunately, IO Interactive-the studio behind slick, stealth-based gameplay in Hitman-is on the case. Thus far, there has been no public announcement about the official release date of the game, Project 007. The game is still in its super-early stages of development, and IO Interactive continues to add to the number of its development team members, with plans to grow from 200 employees to over 400 when the game is released.
Since the extent and scale of this game are quite ambitious, it would most probably be late 2025 at best before we could see it hit stores, though a more realistic timeline might be 2026.
