Troubled from price hike, Fans showed their creativity with PS5 faceplate

The Insomniac developed Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and made their fans crazy as they announced the release date, however, what made it more amazing was the launch of something special with it. 

Yes, it was a limited edition PlayStation 5 with a Spider-man touch on it. However, the price of the PS5 is at its peak due to the high demand, which is making it hard for other fans for buying it.

As the game is all set to release in October month the love is increasing in every hardcore fan of Spider-Man. In between that, another news popped up showing how fans are reacting to the hike in the price of PS5.

The PS5 consists of a Dual Sense controller and faceplates for the console, but now the tables have turned, because some fans generated the faceplate themselves. Fans also decided to take action due to stocks of PS5 which was running quickly out of stock. 

A user on Reddit shared how he used his creativity with PS5 with a faceplate. This captured people's attention and shows how similar it looks just like Sony's official special edition. Meanwhile, another user shared a video of his custom-made faceplate 

A fan wrote a big note on reddit's comment, it reads, "Well tbf it’s likely cause they made the bundle only with the Disc Edition of the PS5, which is $100 more than the base priced Digital Edition. Also considering that the bundle doesn’t provide a physical copy, so not much incentive at all to get a Disc Edition PS5. More importantly anyone that’s already got a PS5 will of course just get the cover plates & controller & the game itself."

He further continued, "For anyone who hasn’t got a PS5 yet like myself the bundle is a solid deal logistically. Besides the fact that we’re forced to pay extra for a disc tray we’ll literally never use, while also only getting a digital copy of literally the bundle’s themed game. It at least beats the price of buying a Digital PS5, the plates, controller, & full price game."

He ended, "Personally i feel like at least throwing in the Steelbook Display Case with the bundle wouldn’t have hurt their profits or sales at all, though i just realized the reason they’re not including any copies of the actual disc is because it’s releasing so far ahead, but at the same time it’s not like they couldn’t have just started preorders later on like Oct 1st and that way actually send out discs. IDK, maybe i’m overthinking this way took much, i just feel like there’s gonna be a lot of Spider-Man 2 physical cases sitting on shelves when it’s released cause everyone & their momma already got it digitally."

Even though buying the original PS5 is the proper way of enjoying the original feel, but the creativity fans showed here was incredible.
