Sony India is all set to hold the third pre-booking sale for its latest gen consoles, the PlayStation 5 series. According to the pre-booking posters on ShopAtSC, and Games The Shop, the company will likely put the regular PlayStation 5 console on sale. Besides these, the console will also be available for sale on Flipkart, Amazon India, Vijay Sales, PrepaidGamerCard, and Croma. Sony PlayStation 5 pre-booking to go live soon; details
Most of the details around the third Sony PlayStation 5 pre-booking will be identical to the sale that happened last week. Given the trend that we observed in the past sale events, the console will likely sell out in minutes of the start of the sale at 12 PM. Looking back, the company first launched the console in February 2021 in the Indian market. Looking at the basic details, the regular Sony PlayStation 5 is priced at Rs. 49,990. A spare DualSense controller is priced at Rs 5,990, Media remote at Rs. 2,590 and the HD Camera at Rs 5,190.
To make things more customer-friendly, Sony India has also asked its partners to not push out bundled deals to buyers. For some context, several retailers pushed out complete PlayStation 5 bundles with extra DualSense controllers and PS5 games. These bundles pushed the price of the console up, pushing it out of reach of many buyers. Sony India also noted that it plans to deliver the consoles to customers around June 7 as part of the latest sale. Some deliveries may be affected by COVID-19 related lockdown and sale restrictions. It is worth noting that Amazon India and Flipkart may not deliver the console in select regions across the country.
Buyers can also get PS5 games along with the console including Marvel’s Spiderman Miles Morales, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and more. Other games available for purchase include Demon’s Souls, Returnal, Ratchet, and Clank: Rift Apart, the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales.
