India is one of the top 5 countries in the world for the sheer number of mobile gamers in the country. Even more than video streaming, people are involved in gaming and watching games on their handheld devices in India.
Here is the list of gamers who are a part of a fast-expanding community of Indian youngsters who rely on game streaming as their single and only source of income:
- Dynamo Gaming
Aaditya Sawant aka “Dynamo” is an Indian gamer from Mumbai who has played many tournaments in Mumbai cafes. He does live stream on his YouTube channel, Games like Dota 2, BF1, BF3, Apex and GTA V. He has a huge following of 6.64 million subscribers on YouTube.
2. Octo Owais
Mohammed Lakhani aka 'Octo Owais' is an Indian player who currently plays for Fnatic (Mobile). He was a member of team SouL which became the winner of the PUBG Mobile India. His YouTube page has 395k subscribers.
3. MortaL
Naman Sandeep Mathur aka 'Mortal' is a professional PUBG player and live streamer. He currently plays for Team SouL. On his channel, he uploads gaming highlights and streams PUBG almost every day. Now, his YouTube channel has over 4.26 million subscribers.
4. CarryMinati
Ajey Nagar aka “CarryMinati” is a popular gamer and YouTubers in India. He has a couple of YouTube channels one of which is CarryisLive, where he live-streams himself playing video games. Ankit aka 'V3nom' Panth is an Indian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player and former Counter-Strike player. He is currently a member of “Team Brutality” he is also the brand ambassador of Alienware.

Aditya aka “Spammy” is an Indian gamer who started his career playing Counter-Strike at a local cafe. It took only but a glimpse of that game to lead him down the esports road. Spammy plays World of Warcraft or Fortnite (which he now plays professionally).

Simar aka “Psy” is an India gamer who started his career playing Counter-Strike 1.6 and now is a star player of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO). He also got the rank of Gold Nova 3 in CS.

Shubham Saini aka “BeastBoyShub” is a popular Indian YouTube gamer who uploads gaming highlights of popular PC/mobile/PS4 games. Now his YouTube channel has over 3.16 million subscribers.
