Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombie Mode to Get a New Weapon

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will offer new thrills in its growing Zombies mode with the introduction of a new Wonder Weapon. This update is a part of the game's Season 5 rollout, which also includes a new map, "Reckoning," and additional gameplay content. The new Wonder Weapon gaining attention is the Gorgofex, and many players have noted, in addition to its appearance, the similarity to the quirky, talking guns from the 2022 game High on Life.

The Gorgofex is a pistol-sized weapon that incorporates fungal, floral, and insectoid characteristics into its design. It had glowing membranes and a central part that resembled a living heart. The ammunition seems foreign, as this weapon does not appear to fire standard bullets. Although the full capabilities of the Gorgofex are not fully revealed yet, official descriptions indicate that it causes significant direct damage.

In addition, the Gorgofex has a very unique secondary effect, which creates a temporary gravitational anomaly that captures and incapacitates enemies, causing them to float for a short time. The anti-gravity nature of the Gorgofex leads to heavy strategic applications by players in clearing zombie hordes.

The Gorgofex's entry into Black Ops 6 Zombies is a significant milestone, given that many previous weapons in the game have either been re-skins or inspired by a previous version. The Gorgofex looks like an original addition to the series, even with the apparent similarities to some of the distinctive weapons from High on Life. The bio-mechanical design makes a uniquely visual and functional addition to the Black Ops 6 Zombies era. More Season 5 Additions

In addition to the new Gorgofex Wonder Weapon, Black Ops 6: Zombies Season 5 will deliver even more content to the mode, too. Players will also get the new Reckoning map, which will be a key location in the ongoing Dark Aether storyline. There will be a field upgrade called Mister Peeks, which will draw in normal and special enemies and then attack them!
