"Feels really weird considering...," Fans React to Punisher & Jeff Skin Absence In Marvel Rivals As New Dr Strange and Peni Parker Skins Get Revealed

Marvel Rivals Season 2 came with multiple new free skins, including a free Mantis one. But, what's made the fans happier is the fact that new skins for Dr Strange and Peni Parker will also be introduced in the game on April 17/18, depending on the region you're in. 

However, there is one part of the community that is looking for skins for some other heroes altogether. In an intense conversation on R/MarvelRivals, the OP pointed out that Jeff and Punisher haven't been given a cosmetic change since the game's Season 0 and many fans of the two heroes seem to have agreed with him.

The internet was in two minds about the new Dr Strange and Peni Parker skins. Some loved them, some not so much, and some just wanted new skins for their mains, Punisher and Jeff.

While the whole thread wanted NetEase to give cute skins for Jeff, there was one section of the fans who rooting for Venom Jeff skins, and even gave reference from the comics and said, "Still waiting on that Venom Jeff skin, I don't personally need a symbiote season but Venom Jeff is peak."

 

Punisher Skin Could Soon Follow?

While the discussion was taking, one fan was quick to point out that a Punisher skins is in works and there's a possibility that you'd see it in the game soon. He wrote the following:

While there is no word from the developers about the arrival of these skins, and NeatEase has also made it tough for the miners to dig out data from the game after the Season 2 update. There's only one thing we can do: wait for an update.
