FragPunk Bans 232 Accounts for Cheating in Weekly Crackdown

Bad Guitar Studio, the team behind the competitive shooter FragPunk, has issued a new wave of disciplinary actions against players found violating in-game rules. Between May 12 and May 18, a total of 232 accounts were permanently banned for confirmed cases of cheating, while two additional accounts were penalized for colluding with cheaters.

The studio has reiterated its zero-tolerance stance against any form of unfair play, emphasizing its commitment to safeguarding a balanced and skill-based competitive ecosystem. The banned accounts were identified through a combination of automated detection systems and manual verification conducted by the Anti-Cheat team. Infractions included the use of unauthorized software and other exploitative behavior that disrupts normal gameplay.

In addition to the permanent bans, the two players found teaming up with cheaters have faced matchmaking restrictions and a complete rollback of their fraudulently earned ranked points.

Bad Guitar Studio stressed that maintaining competitive integrity is a shared responsibility among all players.
