SuperGaming has officially dropped a game-changer for Indus Battle Royale, and it’s all about giving players more control over how they dominate the futuristic battlefield of Virlok. The new update introduces Abilities, a feature that brings an extra layer of strategy and personal flair to every Mythwalker out there.
Choose Your Power, Craft Your Hero
Abilities in Indus are built around four core gameplay archetypes: Intel, Support, Mobility, and Assault. Each one offers an active skill you can use in the heat of battle with a simple tap, keeping the gameplay fluid and mobile-friendly without dumbing down the tactical depth.
Here’s what’s available from day one:
Hunter’s Instinct (Intel)
Ever wish you could see through walls like some kind of sci-fi predator? This one’s for you. Activate infrared vision for 20 seconds within a 150-meter radius and instantly detect enemies nearby. Great for scouting, ambushes, and planning your next move. Cooldown: 80 seconds.
Shield Dome (Support)
Drop a bullet-blocking energy dome with 400 HP that shields you and your teammates while letting your own shots fly out. Clutch plays, last-stand revives, or just holding a position which is your go-to. Cooldown: 75 seconds.
Speed Run (Mobility)
Dash in any direction while dealing damage to enemies you pass through. Think of it as a lethal sprint, which is perfect for diving into the action or zipping out when things get too hot. Cooldown: 85 seconds.
Deadeye (Assault)
Whip out a high-damage sidearm for 25 seconds that hits 360 on headshots and 180 on body shots. Each headshot gives you another bullet, so precision is the name of the game here. Cooldown: 80 seconds.
According to Roby John, CEO and Co-Founder of SuperGaming, these Abilities are all about letting players shape matches their way and "Craft their own Hero" which is a big step toward making Indus not just a battle royale but a playground for personal strategy.

The Sky’s No Longer the Limit: Anti-Gravity Spires
Alongside Abilities, the update introduces Anti-Gravity Spires which are floating stone obelisks scattered across the map. Activate one and it launches you into the air, giving you a chance to redeploy and reposition.
These spires are clearly marked on the map, so you can plan quick escapes, aggressive flanks, or just a stylish zone rotation. They’re a smart answer to the always-moving nature of battle royale games and they open up some very cool possibilities for vertical plays.
Custom Rooms for Your Squad, Scrims, and Streams
Finally, and this one’s been on player wishlists for a while, Indus now has Custom Rooms. You can set up your own private lobbies with full control over:
- Game mode (Battle Royale or TDM)
- Maps
- Squad size (Solo, Duo, Squad)
- Gameplay tweaks like aim assist and auto-fire
- Spectator slots for streamers and coaches
With these updates, Indus isn’t just refining its core gameplay but it’s taking some bold steps toward building a uniquely Indian, mobile-first battle royale experience with actual depth. Abilities give each match more personality and strategy, while Spires and Custom Rooms give players tools to play how they want, when they want.
In short? The battlefield of Virlok is evolving fast. If you haven’t jumped in yet, now’s a pretty solid time to suit up and start crafting your own path to victory.
