Taiwan-based electronics maker Acer has just shared details outlining its upcoming eSports tournament “Acer Predator Gaming League 2020”. As per the latest details, the company shared valuable information about the upcoming eSports event. This includes the timeline for registrations, brackets, qualifiers, and playoffs. As per the information, the company stated that the registrations for the event are still on. The company will be closing off registrations for the tournament in a couple of hours on December 2, 2020. Acer Predator Gaming League 2020 details

The company claims that it aims to develop the gaming community in India which in turn “is instrumental in the growth of eSports”. In addition to the regular tournament, Acer is also organizing a special event that will focus on women gamers. Acer also revealed that the total prize pool of the tournament is Rs 4 lakh. The winners of the Valorant, PUBG, and Valorant Women will get anywhere between Rs 50,000 and Rs 75,000. As per the announcement, the company will stop registrations in a couple of hours and then finalize the brackets.

The company is set to kick-off the qualifiers from Dec 3 and conclude this stage on Dec 9, 2020. Beyond this, the company will start the playoffs on Dec 19 and conclude the event on Dec 20, 2020. The playoff dates will be slightly different for PUBG and Valorant Women. As per the announcement, the company will start the PUBG playoffs on Dec 15 and conclude it on Dec 16. Finally, the Valorant Women playoffs will start on Dec 17, and conclude on Dec 18.

Talking about the tournament format, the Valorant event will filter out four teams in the qualifiers for the play-offs. For PUBG, the online qualifiers will filter out the top 32 teams and then the group stage will further filter the best 16 for play-offs. Finally, the Valorant Women event will filter out 4 teams in the online qualifiers for play-offs. Interested players need to register on the Acer Predator League website with email, phone numbers, and PUBG or Valorant in-game name. All the players need to join the tournament Discord server to take part along with a keen eye on the emails.
