BGIS Registration are Live, Know All About Prizepool, Schedule, Qualifiers, Parameters

The Battle Ground India Series 2024 registration has gone live on the official Krafton Website. The BGIS 2024, starting from April 4 with its pre-event phase called The Grind, allows nearly a month of preregistrations leading up to the commencement of the main event.

How to Register for BGIS 2024 and Requirements?

To enrol in BGIS 2024, visit the Krafton India Esports website and complete the registration form with all the necessary details. Upon submission, a confirmation message will indicate successful registration, followed by an email verification.

It's crucial to note that registration is limited to one team per participant, with a minimum age requirement of 16 years. Additionally, participants must be Indian nationals and possess a level 25 or higher in the Platinum V Tier during the competition.

BGIS 2024 Schedule and Format

The event's format is as follows:

The Grind (April 4 to April 28): This phase involves 256 invited teams organized into 16 groups. Each group competes in three matches over two weeks. Following this, the top 16 teams from each group advance to another round, playing three more matches over the subsequent two weeks. The top 64 teams from the combined standings over the four weeks qualify for the main event, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024.

BGIS 2024 (May 2 to May 26): The event kicks off with Round 1 featuring 1024 teams from the In-Game Qualifiers, divided into 64 groups. From these, 448 teams progress to Round 2. Round 2 involves 512 teams from Round 1 and 32 from The Grind, competing in 32 groups to qualify for Round 3. Round 4 sees 64 teams (48 from Round 3 and 16 from The Grind) forming four groups, each playing six matches. The top four teams per group advance to Semi-Finals Week 1, while 48 teams have a chance for a Wildcard Entry.

Wildcard Entry (May 30 to June 2): Here, 64 teams (48 from Round 4 and 16 from Round 3) are divided into four groups, playing three matches over two days. The top 16 teams overall proceed to the Semi-Finals in Week 1.

Semi-Finals Week 1 (June 4 to June 9): 32 teams (16 from Round 4, 16 from Wildcard Entry) form four groups, playing 12 matches each in a Round Robin format. The top eight teams advance to the Grand Finals, while 24 teams move to the Semi-Finals in Week 2.

Semi-Finals Week 2 (June 13 to June 16): 24 teams from Week 1 form three groups, playing 16 matches each in a Double Round Robin format. The top eight teams proceed to the Grand Finals.

Grand Finals (June 28 to June 30): The culminating event features 16 teams from Weeks 1 and 2 competing in a LAN setting, engaging in 18 matches over three days. The team with the highest overall standing claims the championship title of the Battleground Mobile India Series 2024.

This extensive format ensures a rigorous and competitive journey for participants, culminating in a thrilling Grand Finals event to crown the ultimate champions of the BGIS 2024.

BGIS 2024 Prize Pool

The prize pool for the 2024 Battlegrounds Mobile India Series amounts to ₹2 crore, which will be allocated in the following manner:
