Cyberpunk 2077 v1.05 hotfix details

According to the announcement, the company stated that it has fixed many bugs that would prevent players from proceeding further. Some of the instances include “Jackie” disappearing in “The Pickup” or “The Heist” missions. The update also ensures that players can land the helicopter in the “Love like Fire” missions. Changelog of the update outlined that players on Xbox One and PS4 got several “stability improvements, including crash fixes”. It also tries to fix the modesty problems that we saw regarding V (the main character) in the inventory preview. One can check the complete changelog regarding the update in the official announcement post.

The latest update is different from the significant updates that CD Projekt Red has promised around February to improve performance on base, last-gen consoles. This update comes around the time when the company has faced criticism regarding its promises to refund the pre-orders. As reported previously, players on PlayStation consoles were facing issues in requesting a refund due to strict policies. This pushed Sony Interactive Entertainment to delist the game and request a complete refund to players for a limited time. Just hours after Sony de-listed the game “until further notice”, Microsoft also added a warning on its store.

Microsoft adds a warning, CD Projekt Red shares more information around refunds

As noted above, Microsoft added a warning in the Cyberpunk 2077 listing on its store. This warning outlines the performance issues on Xbox One stating, “Users may experience performance issues when playing this game on Xbox One consoles until this game is updated.” We were unable to spot the warning but a report from The Verge comes with a screenshot of the warning label. Finally, CD Projekt Red also issued an update on the retail refunds for the game. The company stated that players with a retail copy of the game can request a refund until today, December 21. It will refund the amount out of its “own pocket”. Players looking for a refund can email the company before the end of the day.
