Happy Decade Final Fantasy 14! Japan to collaborate with major store for the celebration

Collaboration is in the making as Final Fantasy 14 reaches its 10-year milestone as The Decades Journey promises a memorable celebration.

As Final Fantasy continues its winning hearts spree all around the world, Square Enix has just disclosed the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy 14 through a collaboration with the Japanese store group Isetan called The Decades Journey. As Final Fantasy 14 baths in its fame in both Japan and at a global level, it comes as no surprise that the company isn’t quite done with celebrating the decade of the MMORPG's presence in the market.

The developers had previously conducted interviews shedding light on the game's behind-the-scenes aspects and its anticipated future. Now, enthusiasts have even more incentive to invest their time and money into FF14, particularly due to its collaborations with diverse brands for an array of novel products and merchandise.

Now, coming back to the celebration, Square Enix has introduced a head turning, ear perking collab with Isetan (which just happens to be one of the largest stores in Japan) which would start on 28th September 2023 all the way to 2nd October.

Fun fact for you guys, this would not only commemorate the 10th anniversary of FF14, but also the 90th anniversary of the store’s migration to the Shinjuku area. The event will be held in the Exhibition Hall of the store, and would be STOCKED with amazing Final Fantasy merch as well as refreshments following the same theme.

Its also amazing to know that a lot of fashion and home décor brands would be a part of this, including H Tokyo, Hario Lampwork Factory, Hydro Flask (VSCO is back, folks), Torahebi Coffee and so much more. A thing to note is that a couple of these brands are extremely high end and could charge a hefty price for their limited addition products.

Hey! Did you forget about the Global Fanbase? We deserve to celebrate too! No worries, guys. Even though the physical event would take place only in Japan, the merch is open for worldwide shipping where fans can easily get their hands on some celebration worthy-limited edition goodies.
