Street Fighter 6 introduces new character and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle collab at Evo 2023

Capcom shines with Street Fighter 6's A.K.I DLC fighter and unexpected Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration announcement, creating waves of excitement.

Capcom came out swinging at Evo 2023, debuting Street Fighter 6's second DLC fighter A.K.I and announcing a startling partnership with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that would be released on August 8.

Before the top six showcases, the CapJams sound crew treated the audience to a live performance of SF6 music, and around halfway through the song, the band switched to a well-known 80s hit.

We were as baffled as everyone else when the iconic TMNT theme song began playing over the speakers, but we soon began singing along in the hopes that it might spark a conversation. And sure enough, as soon as the theme song ended, a teaser appeared, revealing that the turtles will be included in a collaboration that also included emotes, stamps, and other things.

It will be live on August 8 just in time for my return to the servers after this Evo trip. This is probably the first of several crossovers planned for the Battle Hub.

A.K.I, the upcoming SF6 DLC fighter, debuted in the game for the first time in a second trailer after Vicious briefly played a ruse on stage. She poisons the player character during her debut, and Capcom refers to her as a “maniacal poison aficionado.”

Although we haven't yet seen a look at A.K.I.'s gameplay, by the way she moves in the clip, it appears like she will enhance her enemies and have some incredibly bizarre movement options and animations. We might see more from her soon as her release date is slated for autumn 2023.
