How to Plant the Converter (Attackers Guide)

As an Attacker, you have two ways to secure victory:

1. Eliminate the entire enemy team
2. Successfully plant and detonate the Converter

Planting the Converter: Step by Step

• At the start of each round, one player on the Attacking team will pick up the Converter.
• The objective is to plant it at either A Site or B Site, both clearly marked on the map.
• Once at a site, the Converter carrier must hold the plant button to place it:
  • Default controls:
    • Controllers: Down on the D-Pad
    • Keyboards: Press "4"
  • (These controls can be changed in the settings.)
• After planting, the Converter takes 50 seconds to detonate.

Defending the Converter After Planting

• Attackers must protect the planted Converter from Defenders trying to defuse it.
• Even if the Converter is planted, the Attackers can still win by eliminating all Defenders.
• If the Converter carrier is eliminated, it will drop and can be picked up by another teammate.

If the Converter successfully detonates, the Attackers win the round.

How to Defuse the Converter (Defenders Guide)

As a Defender, your job is to stop the Attackers by either:

1. Eliminating all enemies before the Converter is planted
2. Defusing the Converter after it has been planted

Defusing the Converter: Step by Step

• If the Converter is planted, Defenders are alerted, and a 50-second countdown begins.
• The planted Converter’s location is marked on the HUD, making it easier to track.
• To defuse, a Defender must get close to the Converter and hold the defuse button:
  • Default controls:
    • Controllers: Down on the D-Pad
    • Keyboards: Press "4"
• Unlike other games, simply eliminating all Attackers won’t secure a win if the Converter is already planted—it must be defused.

Winning as a Defender

• Defuse the Converter before it detonates to win the round.
• If the Attackers are eliminated before planting, the Defenders automatically win.
