Season 15 of Overwatch 2 has brought tons of exciting new content, including the return of loot boxes, the brand-new Perks system, and now—Galactic weapon skins. These futuristic, high-tech designs have caught the eye of players everywhere, but unlocking them won’t be easy.
How to Get Galactic Weapons in Overwatch 2
Galactic weapons are available in the Hero Gallery for 3,000 Competitive Points (CP). You can find them under the Weapon Variants tab, right next to the Golden and Jade weapon skins from past Competitive seasons.
Important Notes:
- If you don’t see the purchase option, it’s because you haven’t earned enough Competitive Points yet.
- Each weapon must be bought individually, meaning if you want every hero’s Galactic variant, you’ll need over 100,000 CP.
How to Earn Competitive Points
You can grind CP by playing Competitive Mode, but it’s a slow process. Here’s how it works:
- Win a match → Earn 10 CP
- Draw a match → Earn 5 CP
- Lose a match → No CP
At the end of each season, you’ll also receive bonus CP based on your final rank, which can help you reach the 3,000 CP goal faster.
Not a Competitive Player? No Problem!
If you prefer more casual gameplay, you can still grab cool cosmetics through the Season 15 Battle Pass or Twitch Drops.
