The time has arrived for the final Major in the Counter Strike Global Offensive. It is going to be the first Major Championship tournament hosted by BLAST. The details of the biggest CS:GO tournament, Blast Paris Major 2023 are officially here and the hype around it is also high. The tournament will feature the best teams from different parts of the world who displayed extraordinary performances in the regional tournaments. BLAST Paris Major 2023 Schedule and Location:
The final Major in the Counter Strike-Global Offensive (CS:GO) will commence from May 8, 2023 and will run till May 21, 2023. In the span of 14 days, the tournament will go through three different stages that have been scheduled in the following manner -
- Challengers Stage: From May 8 to May 11, 2023
- Legends Stage: From May 13 to May 16, 2023
- Champions Stage: From May 18 to May 21, 2023
The Blast Paris Major 2023 will be a LAN event at the Accor Arena in Paris, France. The 24 teams participating in the tournament will fight for a massive prize pool of $12.5 million and get the major chunk out of it.
BLAST Paris Major 2023 Format
The 2023 Major CS:GO has the same format that it has been following for the last five years. The tournament will go through three different stages where the 24 qualified teams will fight it out against each other. Starting with the Challengers Stage, the tournament will end with Champions Stage, here is the complete format of the Blast Paris Major 2023 -
1. The Challengers Stage:
- 16 team Swiss format.
- Elimination and Decider matches of best-of-three.
- Top 8 teams to qualify for the Legends Stage.
- Bottom 8 teams to get eliminated
- Other matches are best-of-one.
2. The Legends Stage:
- 16 team Swiss format.
- Eliminations and Decider matches of best-of-three.
- Top 8 teams qualify for the Champions Stage.
- Bottom 8 teams to get eliminated.
- Other matches are best-of-one.
3. The Champions Stage
- Top 8 teams to compete in Single-elimination bracket.
- Best-of-three.
