The 26th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards 2023 took place earlier on Friday, 24th February. The winners were revealed from across the 23 categories. The most celebrated games of the evening included titles like God of War: Ragnarok and Elden Ring. While God of War: Ragnarok received 11 nominations, of which it won 7 categories, Elden Ring took home the Game of the Year. Horizon Forbidden West, A Plague Tale: Requiem and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II were some other titles with multiple nominations.

Additionally, Tim Schafer of Double Fine Productions was presented the Hall of Fame awards for his contribution to the industry in a career spanning over 30 years. Tim Schafer is known for designing games like Full Throttle, Psychonauts, and Monkey Island.
The 26th Edition of the D.I.C. E Awards was hosted by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) on 24th February in Las Vegas. The awards ceremony was reportedly attended by the who's who of the gaming and game development industry of the world. The show was moderated by Greg Miller (Kinda Funny) and Stell Chung (IGN).
