Fortnite downtime today
Fortnite servers are expected to be down around 1AM PT / 4AM ET / 9 AM GMT / 2:30 PM IST on February 14, 2023 (Tuesday).

Dragon Ball items going back in vault
Epic Games brought back the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud items when Son Gohan and Piccolo entered the battle royale a couple of weeks ago. At the time of the announcement, it was confirmed that these two items would head back in the vault with the next update which is v23.40. So, until next time!
New Valentine’s Day skin
Fortnite leaks have suggested that a new Valentine’s Day-themed skin called Folly will be added with this new update. Expect the new skin to have a back bling, a pickaxe, and a wrap as part of the bundle in the item shop.

Fortnite update 23.40 bug fixes
While the complete patch notes are not revealed yet, Fortnite’s official community issues section reveals that some bugs have been fixed and will be implemented with the coming update. Here are the confirmed changes for Fortnite update 23.40:
- The Sparkle Specialist outfit is not reflective and shiny: Instead appears matte.
- Sarah Connor’s Resistance Leader style has a stretched face when performing some Emotes or actions
- Players are unable to claim the Exile variation of the Mind's Eye back bling
- Sub mode select screen is appearing blank
- The Shadow Striker Augment is temporarily disabled
- Save Device may reset player scores and other stats in Creative Mode.
- Some devices may be capped at 60 FPS despite selecting 90 FPS on mobile.
When are Fortnite servers going to be back up
The downtime for mid-season updates usually lasts for 2-3 hours on average. So, it can be estimated that the Fortnite servers are going to be back up by 4 AM PT / 7 AM ET / 12 AM GMT / 5:30 PM IST on February 14, 2023 (Tuesday).
