Kojima's upcoming project Overdose footage leaks online- features Death Stranding's Mama, Margaret Qualley
The leaked video that first revealed the name Overdose and started it all is now out in the open. Here's everything we know about Kojima Productions' unannounced project 'Overdose'.

It’s no secret that a lot is currently going on at Kojima Productions. On one hand, there's Death Stranding 2, rumored to be an upcoming project. On the other hand, there’s Overdose, another project believed to be coming soon from Kojima Productions. The latest on this, in fact, is that the big leak that started it all is now available for us to watch. However, that’s not all. Kojima has been collaborating with crazily talented people from across the globe, and literally 'fanboying' about them. But are these posts cryptic teasers of his upcoming games too? Read on to find out.
Overdose footage leaks online
The latest development in terms of Kojima’s upcoming projects is a leaked video doing the rounds on the internet. From the looks of it, it is the one that Tom Henderson informed us about, back in June this year. And just as he had described, the two-and-a-half-minute-long video features actress Margaret Qualley in a blue dress, walking around in the dark with a flashlight. It does look like a horror game, with the jump scare at the end before the revelation of the title Overdose, by Kojima Productions. Check it out for yourselves.
Now Kojima himself did tease that he is trying to make “the scariest horror game”. So this video, followed by the three poster teasers, the last of which dropped a few days back, seems to be a part of the same puzzle. The moods depicted are all very similar.

What's cooking at Kojima Productions?
As for his other antics, we’ve already informed you about his earlier collaboration with Indian superstar director S. S. Rajamouli. Other than the fact that the Brain Structure podcast featuring Rajamouli, teased the possibility of a collaborative project between the two too many times, there’s more. He subsequently shared posters of Rajamouli’s blockbuster film Makkhi (Eega), and fans can’t stop talking about seeing Rajamouli in an upcoming Kojima game.
Now that’s huge for us Indians, given how art originating from around here is creating ripples not just at Kojima Productions, but in Japan. But that’s not all - Rajamouli is not the only personality featured in Kojima’s podcast, to have gone under the 3D scanner. French singer-songwriter Woodkid, and Japanese filmmaker Mamoru Oshii too were reportedly 3D scanned. As for Woodkid, they also appeared in a picture together with actress Shioli Kutsuna. Who knows, maybe they were shooting together.
