Team Vitality wins CS:GO trophy at Gamers8 2023
It was a historic weekend for Team Vitality, with the legendary ZywOo receiving yet another MVP award for his immaculate performance and newbie flameZ taking home his biggest prize yet.
The ongoing Gamers8 gaming event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia featuring multiple esports tournaments of different titles is turning out to be an exciting feast for esports fans around the globe. The recently concluded CS:GO tournament at the Gamers8 has got its winner which is Team Vitality. The team has grabbed $400,000 by securing first place in three matches against ENCE. Before the final showdown, Team Vitality showcased great gameplay against the intense competition in the form of Natus Vincere (NAVI), MIBR, and G2 Esports.
Proving onto the words of its in-game leader apEX who said "Vitality is the best team in the world", Team Vitality secured its third major victory in the last five CS:GO tournaments. The team started a bit slow in the first match during the grand finals. Vitality's domain proved to be Mirage, as they quickly got the advantage, even during an extended tech gap. The decider, Nuke, emphasized ZywOo's outstanding performance, winning him yet another MVP honor.
Despite being praised for their outstanding tournament runs, ENCE continues to have trouble against elite-level teams when it counts. Their victory at IEM Dallas came at the cost of MOUZ, but they have yet to routinely defeat top-tier opponents. Here is the complete matchup between the two teams:

The first match of the grand finals started with ENCE thrashing Team Vitality with a scoreline of 16-7. Team Vitality recovered quickly after being hammered in the first match and made an impressive comeback keeping the hopes alive for the final round. The third match was played at the Nuke where Team Vitality again displayed a promising performance and managed to win its third major Counter Strike Global Offensive title.
