The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 has reached a crucial stage as the Semifinals kick off today. A total of 32 teams will compete in the first week of the semifinals, aiming to secure a spot in the Grand Finals. The tournament will span four days, where teams will battle it out in a round-robin format. BGIS 2025 Semifinals Week 1 Day 1 Participating Teams and Group Division
The semifinals consist of 32 teams, comprising 16 squads that advanced from the quarterfinals and 16 that qualified through the wildcard round. These teams are divided into four groups:

Following the conclusion of Week 1, the top eight teams will secure their places in the Grand Finals, while the remaining 24 teams will advance to Semifinals Week 2 for another opportunity to qualify.
Match Schedule and Map Rotation
The matches for BGIS 2025 Semifinals Week 1 will run from March 29 to April 1, with teams competing in six matches each day across different maps. Here is the map rotation for Day 1:
- Match 1 (Erangel): Group A vs. Group B
- Match 2 (Miramar): Group A vs. Group C
- Match 3 (Sanhok): Group A vs. Group C
- Match 4 (Erangel): Group C vs. Group B
- Match 5 (Miramar): Group D vs. Group B
- Match 6 (Erangel): Group C vs. Group D
Additionally, there have been discussions about potential schedule adjustments. Esports athlete Soumraj revealed that Krafton officials have considered rescheduling matches set for Eid (Monday, April 1) in light of its significance as a major festival in India. However, an official announcement on this matter is yet to be made.
