Call of Duty fans are diving into Treyarch’s latest release, and it's already racking up stellar reviews. For many longtime  CoD fans, the new game strikes a perfect balance, bringing back that classic Treyarch feel but with exciting new features like omnimovement. Although a few of the multiplayer maps aren’t hitting the mark, iconic maps like Nuketown are set to make a return soon, likely calming those early complaints.

Dr Disrespect Joins the Fray

As expected, Dr Disrespect, the former Call of Duty dev (who worked on Advanced Warfare), has jumped into the action, streaming his Black Ops 6 grind. While he initially praised the game, he’s not entirely on board with everything. “Am I playing TikTok or Black Ops 6?” the Doc tweeted after a lengthy October 28 stream, poking fun at the game’s fast pace. “After 7 hours my brain cell production count is negative %.”

Mixed Reactions from Fans

The Doc’s take resonated with some fans, who chimed in with their own feedback on the game. “Modern COD is not for sane humans; I got exhausted just watching y’all,” one viewer said. Another added, “Gameplay is solid, movement is fresh, but SBMM makes solo play a challenge. Plus, some players don’t understand CoD’s true multiplayer roots.”

Others enjoyed the new mechanics but found the game’s speed a bit overwhelming. “I love the new movement, but man, everything is just TOO fast,” one player remarked.

Fans Suggest the Doc Take a Break

With Halloween just around the corner, some fans are nudging Dr Disrespect to mix it up with other games, like Off The Grid, Delta Force, Escape from Tarkov, or something spooky for the season.

So, while Black Ops 6 is keeping fans on their toes, there’s no shortage of games tempting players to switch things up as they wait for those classic CoD maps to drop.
