 In a continued effort to uphold fair play, FragPunk developers Bad Guitar Studio have announced the permanent suspension of 169 accounts involved in cheating activities between May 19 and May 25. This enforcement follows the studio’s unwavering commitment to maintaining an honest and competitive environment across the game’s player base.

According to the official statement, these accounts were banned after a comprehensive process involving both automated systems and manual investigations. The infractions ranged from the use of unauthorized third-party software to other serious forms of gameplay manipulation. Developers affirmed that all penalties were issued based on clear, verified evidence, in line with the game's user policies.

While no additional penalties such as matchmaking restrictions or ranked point deductions were applied in this particular wave, the studio emphasized that accounts found colluding with cheaters in the future will also face repercussions.

Bad Guitar Studio reiterated its strict zero-tolerance policy towards cheating, affirming that competitive integrity is a shared responsibility. "Skill—not exploitation—should decide the outcome of a match," the studio stated, urging players to avoid any behavior that could compromise the fairness of gameplay.

Players are also encouraged to support the initiative by reporting any information related to cheat distribution or use directly to the FragPunk team via the provided reporting email.
