FragPunk Cracks Down on Cheating: 313 Accounts Banned
FragPunk bans 313 cheaters to maintain fair play and competitive integrity in the game.

FragPunk, Bad Guitar Studio's competitive multiplayer game, has unleashed a sweeping crackdown on cheating and strengthened its zero-tolerance policy. During the period from May 5 through May 11, a record 313 player accounts were banned permanently due to confirmed cases of cheating and rules infractions. The action was spearheaded by the game's own dedicated anti-cheat crew and forms part of a constant push to make the game more balanced and equitable for everyone to play.
The studio indicated that the bans were founded on substantial evidence gathered by both automated monitoring systems and comprehensive manual reviews. Offenses consisted of the usage of cheat programs and other unauthorized gameplay modifications that give a player an unfair advantage. All the actions taken comply with FragPunk's User Agreement, and the developers stated that they clearly indicated that offenses will be dealt with promptly and decisively.

Besides the permanent bans, another three players were punished for their collaboration with the cheaters. The gamers were discovered to have joined forces willingly with the banned accounts, and they faced penalties in access to matchmaking as well as loss of all illegitimately acquired ranked points. The developers specifically emphasized that not only direct cheating but even complicity in cheating would be viewed as a punishable offense.
Bad Guitar Studio stressed that protecting the competitive climate is a cooperative process between players and developers. They requested community players to inform them of any suspicious activity and had a direct email option for the submission of information regarding cheat distributors or developers.

An entire list of the banned accounts has been made public, highlighting the studio's willingness to be open. The developers ended their message by thanking supporters for standing with the battle against cheaters and once again affirming their continued dedication to enforcing the rules and upholding the integrity of the game.
With this newest round of enforcement, FragPunk shows once again that skill—rather than exploitation—will be the key to success in its competitive environment.
