Marvel Rivals is set to undergo a massive content update with Marvel Rivals Season 2.5, dropping May 30th. This mid-season update introduces the 90s cartoon's iconic villain Ultron as a playable Strategist, while also introducing an entirely new map with updated team-up ability functionality, fun cosmetics, and an experimental game mode. Ultron, the menacing artificial intelligence, arrives as the first flying Strategist hero in Marvel Rivals. Ultron's kit will be revolved around battlefield control and support. Ultron will have access to all sorts of energy beams like the Encephalo-Ray and the ability to summon an army of drones to heal allies while damaging enemies. Pulse Ultron's Ultimate ability provides and you see a drone strike devastate your enemies called Rage of Ultron. Players can look forward to a unique playstyle that relies on battlefield positioning and drone population or army management, but this could also help define the strategy meta for support characters? Ultron is tied into the overlying narrative that has been occurring throughout the game, as Ultron has stolen Cerebro and changed Arakko, Krakoa's sister island, to his mechanical fortress.

Marvel Rivals Ultron Team-Up Abilities and New Game Mode
