AMD at CES 2023: Ryzen 7000 Series Desktop and Mobile Processors, and AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series GPUs announced

AMD has revealed the various upcoming OEM partners which will release laptops powered by their new 7000 series GPUs and processors. That list includes OEMs like Alienware and ASUS.

AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) has announced their latest lineup of Ryzen 7000 series Desktop processors, 7000 series Mobile processors, the new AMD Radeon RX 7000 series Graphics for Laptops and the new AMD Advantage-certified laptops at CES 2023. All of these announcements were made during AMD’s keynote at CES 2023 delivered by AMD CEO Lisa Su. 

AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Desktop Processors

The company’s latest  Ryzen 7000 series desktop processor lineup includes three new desktop processors for the gaming audience. The new Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700 and Ryzen 5 7600 series processors will look to provide better gaming performance at lower power. All three of these desktop processors are built on the “Zen 4” architecture and feature a 65W TDP.

AMD 7000 Series Mobile Processors 

Next up, AMD announced their next lineup meant to power gaming laptops and provide better content creation. The new Ryzen 7045HX series processors are also Zen 4-based and provide up to 16-cores and 32-threads. It also strives to deliver a boost frequency of 5.7 GHz. 

 

 

AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series GPUs for gaming laptops 

The AMD Radeon RX 7000 GPU series is built on the AMD RDNA 3 architecture. This GPU series will offer up to 32 compute units, 32MB AMD Infinity Cache and 8GB GDDR6 memory. 

AMD Advantage-certified latest laptops will be powered by the new AMD Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs and AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. The company has revealed the various upcoming OEM partners which will release laptops powered by their new 7000 series GPUs and processors. That list includes OEMs like Alienware, ASUS, Emdoor and IP3. 

The Alienware Infinity m18 and m16 AMD Advantage Edition laptops will have the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT GPU whereas the Asus TUF Gaming A16 AMD Advantage Edition laptop will feature up to an RX 7700S GPU.
