Earlier this year, the Alienware M15 R7 launched in the Indian market with Intel’s 12th Gen core processors. Dell Alienware has now launched in India, a new M15 R7 gaming laptop, featuring AMD Ryzen CPUs.
This new model comes as an expansion to Alienware’s X series gaming laptops. It is an addition to its M15 Ryzen edition, which it kick-started last year, as the first Alienware product to feature an AMD processor “in over a decade”. Dell Alienware M15 R7 series refreshed with AMD processors
Dell has dubbed the Alienware M15 R7, as its most powerful 15-inch gaming laptop. Moving on to the specifications, the new additions feature the AMD Ryzen 6000 H series processors. As for the GPUs, Dell Alienware has currently launched only those models featuring NVIDIA’s RTX 3060 and 3070 Ti series only. The Indian market launch of the M15 R7 AMD edition featuring the more powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti however continues to be in the pipeline.
Other than that, the AMD edition continues to possess other features typical of the M15 R7 series like the 15.6-inch display with Full HD or Quad HD panels. Their refresh rates range between 165Hz or 360Hz for FHD, and 240Hz for QHD. Additionally, Alienware’s Cryo-Tech cooling technologies work to produce a 170W TDP (Thermal Design Power), optimized for extra-long hours at gaming. Support for NVIDIA G-Sync, and Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos certifications are also available.
