As for the other winners, a special shoutout to Entity, an Indian eSports company. They secured rank 13 in the tournament after they lost 2-1 to Team Liquid, in the Lower Bracket Round 2. Team Liquid on the other hand secured Rank 3 in The International 2022, having won $1,703,800 USD from the prize pool. Team Secret is the first runners-up and claimant of $2,461,000 USD of the prize pool.

Entity Esports loses the Aegis

Moving on to the ‘after-party’, Tundra Esports seems to have lost their Aegis of Champions. They tweeted on October 31, seeking help, “Last night got a little out of hand, you won’t believe this but we lost the Aegis…”. The subsequent Call to Action from the official Twitter handles of both Tundra Esports and DOTA 2, added a bit more truth to it.

Now since this is too huge to be true, some speculate that this may ultimately be a joke. Some fans even tweeted that the Aegis of Champions was up for sale.

However, now Tundra Esports has removed their tweets asking the whereabouts of their Aegis. Rather, their last tweet which was a few hours ago is this.

Turns out, it was in fact a joke, and a good one at that. Dota 2 fans in fact did believe it to be blasphemous. Regardless, the Aegis of the Champions is safe with the Champions- Tundra Esports.
