Epic Games has announced the next set of games that will be available for free on the store. At the moment, Ark: Survival Evolved and Gloomhaven are available for free on the platform. Epic Games gives away titles for free every week, and this month’s records have been no different. They’ve already revealed the new additions to the freebies list for October’s first week as Runbow and The Drone Racing League. Read on to know more about the games, how to download them for free, their availability and more.

Ark: Survival Evolved

This is an action-adventure survival from 2017 from indie developers Studio Wildcard. It gained quite the popularity and acclaim for its multiple DLC expansions and a battle-royale spin-off. In this MMO, players find themselves estranged on a distant land from the ancient past. They have to fend for their survival, against creatures like dinosaurs.

This is a videogame adaptation Flaming Fowl Studios of the popular co-op board game of the same name. It launched in 2021, and is a turn-based cooperative dungeon crawler.

Both of these games are currently available for free on the Epic Games Store. To redeem Ark: Survival Evolved and Gloomhaven for free, head over to the Epic Games Store, and onto the Free Games section. Tap on the game(s) of your choice, and you’ll be redirected to the purchase page of the game. Select “Get” and then “Place Order” to automatically add the game to your library.

The last day for you to redeem these titles for free is October 29th (8:30 PM). Ark: Survival Evolved and Gloomhaven will subsequently be replaced by Runbow, and The Drone Racing League on October 29th. They’ll be available in the Store for free for a week, until October 6th.  Runbow is a platform racing video game that was originally launched for free for the Nintendo Wii back in 2016. The Drone Racing League, as the title suggests, is an action-packed drone racing simulation game.
