Day 5 of the Group D level 1 qualifier starts today with 2 matches of the round 2 stage scheduled for the day. Each match will feature a set of top teams from round 1 that will compete against each other. The top 3 teams from each match will advance to the final round i.e. Round 3.
India’s first franchise-based Free Fire eSports league, the ESports Premier League 2021 Level 1 qualifiers are almost done with the top 22 teams from each Group A, Group B, and Group C already advancing to the Level 2 stage. The Level 2 qualifiers will go live on August 1st followed by the Level 3 stage on August 16th.
ESPL 2021 is a multi-city franchise-based league announced by India Today Gaming. It will run over a period of two months. The ESPL 2021 comprises more than 700 online matches with more than 300 hours of gaming content. The tournament features 8 teams from each major city in India. These cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Bangalore. Teams will compete against each other for a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 to be distributed in the grand finals.
ESPL 2021 Format
ESports Premier League 2021 is divided into 4 levels. Level 1 will feature a mix of amateur and semi-professional teams from across the country competing against each other to claim a spot in the top 22 teams from each group. A total of 88 teams will qualify for the Level 2 stage where they will be joined by the 8 invited teams. These teams will compete in Levels 2 and 3, to qualify for the Final Level. A total of 8 teams will qualify for the grand finals representing eight cities as stated above.
ESPL 2021 Level 1 Group D Day 5 matches
Once again, a total of 2 matches will be played on the fifth day of the Level 1 Group D stage. All the matches will be played exclusively in a Bo3 format on Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari maps from which the top 3 teams will qualify for the next round.
