For some context, several gambling companies have been trying to classify their apps as gaming apps. He also shared his point of view on Twitter by tweeting at the PMO, Niti Aayog, MPs, and ASCI. Gondal stated that he did the right thing by talking about the evil “in front of” his “eyes”. The statement outlined that “individuals” from across the country were offended by the article and the tweets. He also highlighted how these notices were “hilarious” while encouraged people to read them. Gondal also stated that he is ready to defend himself against these notices and any other “multifarious proceedings” in different parts of the country.

The statement also called these notices “frivolous and baseless” while reaffirming Gondals’ confidence in the Indian courts. He also stated that the “common language” and the timing of all these notices is “extremely suspicious”. It is likely that all these cases are simply a coordinated effort from the gambling lobbies in the market.

Gondal asked the eSports and gaming industry to “come together” to push forward the eSports segment in India.
