FIFA-EA at loggerheads ahead of Qatar 2022 World Cup: FIFA unveils new Web 3.0 World Cup games, while EA predicts 2022 winners

FIFA is looking for its future in the metaverse, banking on the World Cup for a start after its stint with Roblox. EA too has predicted who's going to win this year. Beware, they already got it correct three times. Here are all the details.

The upcoming FIFA Qatar World Cup fever has taken over the entire globe and spilled over to the video gaming community as well. While EA’s FIFA may be coming to an end, FIFA won’t. The reveal comes just in time for the 2022 World Cup, to engage fans as much as possible, banking on Web 3.0 companies like Altered State Machine, Upland Metaverse, Matchday, and Phygtl. While FIFA is busy experimenting with blockchains and Web 3.0, EA of the long-standing FIFA video game franchise is keeping it classic. They just announced their prediction of the winners of the 2022 World Cup. Find out all the details below.
