Four months since the launch of God of War: Ragnarok, and multiple awards later, the game continues to win over hearts across the globe. Sony PlayStation grabs the opportunity and continues to push its marketing here in India. The latest is a giant Mjolnir along with a PS5 here Gurugram, Delhi NCR. Here’s more on these developments. 

God of War: Ragnarok display in Gurugram

God of War: Ragnarok has had massive promotions here in India since its release last year in November. From midnight launches where people swarmed in in numbers, to the Mumbai metro decked up in posters from God of War: Ragnarok, India has come a long way when it comes to promoting video games. The latest is the PlayStation and Mjolnir model display that has been set up at DLF Cyber City Gurgaon (Gurugram).

God of War: Ragnarok major sales driver for Sony

In other news, Sony recently shared the financial results for the final quarter of 2022 (Q3 FY 22). Turns out, God of War: Ragnarok has been a major revenue earner for PlayStation. The company has recorded a 53% increase in sales in the Game & Network Services segment over last year, with the sale of God of War: Ragnarok which launched in the quarter. The title has sold 11 million units since launch, driving the quarters $9.6 billion in revenue.
