Rockstar Games has relaunched GTA: The Trilogy- Definitive Edition for PC. Steam is currently selling Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy- The Definitive Edition on sale right now. Rockstar Games and Take Two has confirmed that the Definitive Edition of The Trilogy will soon be available on the Epic Games Store as well. A Brief Context

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy- Definitive Edition was launched back in 2021, however it didn’t go as planned. The game was ridden with bugs, and technical errors, along with certain game files that weren’t supposed to be there. The botched launch of GTA: The Trilogy- Definitive Edition, eventually led Rockstar Games to pull out the PC version.

Rockstar Games then made the original versions of the three games of the Trilogy- GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas available for PC once again. Regardless, the sales figure that the devs shared last year claimed that they sold more than 10 million copies of the GTA: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition, despite the apparent disappointment of the audience. The Definitive Edition now seems to have come back for PC, via Steam. 

GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition on Steam Details- Price, Availability

Rockstar Games re-launched the collection on Steam yesterday after more than a year. The platform is currently conducting a publisher sale for Rockstar Games as well. That makes GTA: The Trilogy- Definitive Edition now available at a price of Rs 1649, at 50% off. The Trilogy has been originally priced at Rs 3,299 for PC. The Definitive Edition of The Trilogy also reads “Playable” for the Steam Deck. 

However, the Definitive Edition of Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City and San Andreas continue to be unavailable as separate copies. Additionally, Rockstar Games and Take Two have confirmed that the collection will soon be available on the Epic Games Store as well. The Definitive Edition of The Trilogy was however available on all other platforms all this while, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
