This is the fourth edition of the India Gaming Show with the last event back in 2021 which happened virtually due to the pandemic. India Gaming Show will be a physical event this year and it is set to take place on February 16-18 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
India’s president to inaugurate International Engineering and Technology Fair and India Gaming Show 2023
India Gaming Show 2023 is a concurrent show, part of the International Engineering and Technology Fair (IETF 2023). IETF 2023 will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu on February 16, 2023. Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey, Hon'ble Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises will be the Guest of Honour at the Inaugural ceremony. This upcoming IETF 2023 will be the 25th edition and it is the flagship event of CII since 1975.
A lot of major gaming and esports organisations, publishers and developers will be attending the event as exhibitors including the likes of Riot Games and PlayStation to name a few.

CII and IDGS are organising a series of panel discussions about the gaming industry and esports atmosphere in India. These panels will be running all throughout the three-day event. Day 1

IGS Exhibition
While the panels concern more B2B matters, there will also be a proper Exhibition area at India Gaming Show 2023. This will feature a plethora of exhibitors such as PlayStation and Riot Games who will be showcasing their games and platforms for visitors to try out and enjoy.
India Gaming Show 2023 will have varying exhibitors from the animation sector, game manufacturers, game publishers, indie and global game developers, gaming start-ups and more. The IGS Exhibition area will be featuring showcases for PC, console and VR games for hands-on experience.
Visitors can also experience several gaming booths and photo booth sections from major gaming publications. There will also be a live-action ‘Defuse the Spike’ Valorant game hosted by Riot Games. It will feature a nerf-shooting arena for visitors to take part in and earn exciting rewards.
Cosplay registeration
India Gaming Show will not only provide a platform for the gaming industry to showcase its varied range of games, products and services, but it will also be a celebration of the pop culture and booming gaming culture of India.
Cosplay is going to be a part of the India Gaming Show 2023 and interested cosplayers can sign up here. Keep in mind that cosplay is not a contest. Instead, it is an entertainment and participatory activity at the event. However, the best cosplayers will receive some giveaways from Anime Group India.
Theme, timings and venue
Cosplay will be taking place in the A2 hall on the ground floor at Pragati Maidan. Timings for cosplay will be 10 AM to 6 PM. Cosplay outfits should be based on gaming, anime, Marvel or DC.
IGS Startup Show
India Gaming Show will also be organising Start up Showdown, so as to provide “an opportunity to emerging startups in the gaming ecosystem, to meet and share their ideas with investors, with a view towards a potential investment.”

IGS Investor Meet
IGS Investor Meet will be preceding all the Startup Showdown during the three-day event. These Investor Meet will feature panels which feature leading members of the gaming and esports industry.
Day 1: The Indian gaming landscape – Where do the big bets lie?
This panel will revolve around the rise of Web 3.0 in gaming, explosive growth in the consumption of esports, casual gaming, RMG and more. There will also be a conversation about monetisation in these sectors of gaming.
Day 2: Regulatory landscape of Indian gaming – Time to untangle to knots
Panellists will be talking about the jurisdictions and regulations of the Indian gaming sector, as the government is putting in efforts to streamline and outline how regulation gaming would be planned and implemented in India.
Day 3: The gaming studio business in India – Turning Davids into Goliaths
India’s growing audience of casual gaming will be the topic of discussion for this panel. It will also feature the potential of indie games and “nurturing gaming studios over their journey to produce truly global successes”.
IGS Demo Session
Confederation of Indian Industry and the Indian Digital Gaming Society will also be providing a platform for aspiring game developers to showcase their games, products and services.
