India Gaming Show 2023: Packed with gaming and esports exhibitions
A lot of major gaming and esports organisations, publishers and developers are attending the event as exhibitors including the Riot Games, PlayStation, Rooter, Loco, Stan, Western Digital Black, and many more.
IGS 2023, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with the Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS), returned as a physical event this year after the last event took place virtually in 2021. This is the fourth edition of India Gaming Show and there have been plenty of excitements on offer for gamers.

Microsoft and Skye Esports are also conducting Grand Slam 2022 which is the first-ever all-female Valorant LAN event in India.

India Gaming Show 2023 inaugurated by President of India
India Gaming Show (IGS) 2023 kicked off proceedings on February 16 as the year's biggest show in the country. The event is a concurrent show and part of the larger International Engineering and Technology Fair (IETF 2023). The IETF 2023 got inaugurated by Hon’ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu on February 16, 2023. Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey, Hon'ble Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, was the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony.
IGS 2023 Conference
CII and IDGS organised a series of panels throughout the event for the B2B sector in gaming and esports. There were several panels on topics ranging from women participation in gaming to the vast potential of esports in India.
IDGS President and JetSynthesis CEO and Founder Rajan Navani started the IGS 2023 Conference proceedings on Day 1. He shared the panel with Krafton India CEO Sean Hyunil Sohn. The industry leaders had a fireside chat talking about various pain points and the potential of the gaming industry. They also talked about the major revolutions coming in that have the potential to shape the world of gaming such as AI and the rapid rise of ChatGPT.
Krafton India CEO believes that AI holds the ability to create smarter NPCs for a better gameplay experience whereas a lot of cost-cutting in game development is possible through the use of Artificial Intelligence.
IDGS newsletter
IDGS also launched the start of their newsletter series at the India Gaming Show 2023. The newsletter is set to provide the readers with the all the latest news and updates about gaming, esports and all the initiatives and measures taken by IDGS to promote the industries.
PlayStation 5 sale exclusively at India Gaming Show 2023
Sony set up its camp at India Gaming Show and gave exclusive discounts on PS4 and PS5 games for the visitors at IGS. Moreover, the PlayStation 5 was available for purchase right at the event, with the shortage of the premium console finally relaxing even in India. PlayStation 5, the DualShock controllers and even the newly released DualSense Edge premium PS5 controller were all on display at the event.
Furthermore, several cosplayers donning the roles of Kratos, Aloy and Spider-Man were at the exhibition to add more flair to the India Gaming Show 2023.
