India Gaming Show 2023 was an overall memorable and educational event- says Indian Digital Gaming Society President Rajan Navani

The India Gaming Show 2023 successfully concluded on Saturday, 18th February, 2023. Here's looking back at the eventful congregation of gamers and tech enthusiasts.

India Gaming Show concluded on 18th February, after a 3 day long event, packed with action, excitement and fun. And what’s more, gamers of India got to come together in our very own city of Delhi for a show that celebrated their industry. On that note, Mr Rajan Navani, the National President of IDGS and the Founder and CEO of JetSynthesys, has shared his thoughts of the successful show. Here’s the latest on the India Gaming Show 2023. 

Highlights of India Gaming Show 2023

India Gaming Show held its fourth edition from 16th to 18th February, as a part of the International Engineering and Technology Fair (IETF 2023). It was organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with the Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS). The event started on a very high note with the Hon’ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, inaugurating IETF.

The event included exhibition booths of developers from India such as Hypernova Interactive and abroad like Riot Games and Sony. Another major highlight would be the first women-only Valorant LAN tournament- Windows 11 Skyesports Grand Slam. The competition reportedly garnered over 5 million views. Grace Esports emerged as the winner. 

India Gaming Show also served as the confluence where investors also joined in to participate. The audience witnessed some engaging chat sessions and panels discussing the current trends and the future of the gaming industry. Panelists included the CEO of Krafton, Mr. Sean Hyunil Sohn, Mr. Anuj Tandon, CEO of Gaming at JetSynthesys, game designer Anushka Karmakar of Hypernova Interactive, to name a few.

India has a huge community of gamers, that continues to grow. However, we still have a long way to go when it comes to organizing and participating in events such as the India Gaming Show where exchanges take place. Regardless, the India Gaming Show was a huge success, which marks the potential of the audience of India. “The Hon Droupadi Murmu's inspiring presence at the CII's Indian Gaming Show 2023 was a reminder of the immense potential of India's gaming and esports industry. We were delighted to see the large number of gamers and tech enthusiasts participating in the event, and we could see their enthusiasm as they attentively listened to the speakers from the panel discussions and visited the interactive booths. The aim of JetSynthesys is to take Indian gaming and eSports to a global level, and with this platform, the country's top gamers got an opportunity to shine in a league of their own. Our aim was to offer fierce competitions, along with some riveting dialogues and unique interactive booths for participants of all age groups. IGS 2023 was an overall memorable and educational event that would not have been possible without the tech and gaming community,” he added.
