Intel launches 13th Gen Intel Core H-, P- & U- series mobile processors at CES 2023; Here's everything latest that Intel announced for gamers

Intel's 13th Gen cores for laptops will soon be available in the market as 13th Gen Intel Core H-, P- & U- series were launched at CES 2023 yesterday. Here's all we know including availability, key features of the new launches, and more.

Last year in September, Intel launched its latest generation- the 13th Generation with Raptor Lake processors for desktop. Following this, at the CES 2023 Keynote yesterday, Intel launched 32 new13th Gen mobile processors, from the H, P, and U series. In addition to that, Intel also launched  new designs in their Evo laptop series. Here’s everything that Intel announced for gamers at their CES 2023 Keynote. 

Intel announces 13th Gen Intel Core H-, P- & U- series mobile processors

After the 13th Gen K series processors for desktops that Intel launched last year, they have now launched 13th Gen processors for mobile systems- the 13th Gen Intel Core H-, P- & U- series. For context, Intel classifies its “high performance” mobile processors under the H series. Similarly, P series mobile processors represent “performance for thin and light” systems, while the U series stand for “power efficiency”.

The 13th Gen Intel Core H-series Processors feature 24 cores, whereas the P-series and U-series processors both feature up to 14 cores. Designed to go with sleek and thin systems that support DDR5 and DDR4 memories, with high-class connectivity provided by PCIe Gen 5, and Integrated Intel Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+), gaming on-the-go becomes better and more accessible. 

Intel has informed that more than 300 designs featuring the H-, P- and U- series mobile processors can be expected to land in the market from top manufacturers like Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Razer, Republic of Gamers, and Samsung among others.      

Other announcements

New designs for Intel’s Evo laptop series have been announced with three “Key Experiences” as a part of the new specifications. These are batteries with longer life, “Intelligent collaboration” of technologies like “Intel Connectivity Performance Suite and Intel Bluetooth LE Audio”. Intel Unison is the third key experience which will be available on some of these new designs.

Additionally, Intel has also expanded its line-up of 13th Gen Core K series Desktop processors, with new 35-watt and 65-watt SKUs. They have now been made available in the market.
