Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 launch delayed, details for the update revealed

The Season 2 update for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 has been delayed by two weeks. Continue reading to find out what all content will be included in the forthcoming update. 

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 2 was previously scheduled to launch in early February 2023. Activision, on the other hand, recently informed its fans that the update would now be released on February 15, 2023. The new update would offer a slew of new content for players, including Resurgence, a new Warzone 2 map.

Activision stated the reason for the update that “the studio teams have been making several changes based on what we have heard from our player community”.

Season 2 brings a new battle pass and several other updates 

The new season of Call of Duty is releasing in mid-February and is set to bring another Raid Episode to Modern Warfare 2. 

Season 2 adds a lot of additional content to the game. Resurgence, a small map, is returning in Warzone 2.0. Modern Warfare 2's Ranked Play will also return with new multiplayer maps, modes, weapons, and much more.

 

 

Art for Season 2 was revealed in December

Modern Warfare 2 is harboring back to the classics for Season 2. The popular 'Castle' map from World At War would be returning to the game, as said by What If Gaming.

Other than that. return of Warcom operator 'Ronin' from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, who was originally launched for the game in 2020 is going to happen.

Season 2 would be offering several new offerings for all players, such as new cosmetics and weapons. This Season is said to be based on the Japanese theme. 

The last major update for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 took place back in December. It included a Chimera assault rifle, a Shipment multiplayer map, and Call of Duty’s first-ever Raid.

CODSploitz also revealed that the Final bundle date for the Season 1 is February 2, and the end date is February 15.
