Need For Speed Unbound reveal trailer features A$AP Rocky; releasing this December for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC

The trailer confirmed the influence of anime-style visuals in the game blended together with realistic-looking cars.

EA has finally unveiled Need for Speed Unbound after various leaks, rumours and reports. The Need for Speed Unbound reveal trailer featured A$AP Rocky, confirming reports about his inclusion in the game. Need for Speed Unbound will be released on December 2 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and Origin.

Multiplayer and other features 

Need for Speed Unbound is set in the open world of Lakeshore City. NFS Unbound will feature multiplayer through Meetups where players can challenge other players for a race. Players will also be placing side bets before races in order to take home more cash. EA also revealed that the faster players drive, the more heated a police chase becomes in the game.

NFS Unbound will be offering various options to players to pick their own driving effects while racing away in their car as EA looks to revolve this game around street racing with Underground vibes. 

NFS Unbound price and availability in India 

NFS Unbound pre-order is now live and players can buy the Standard Edition for ₹4,499 on Xbox and PlayStation Stores. PC players can get the game for ₹3,499 on Steam, Epic Games Store and Origin. 

There’s also a pre-order bonus which gives players “an epic driving effects pack, license plate, decals, stickers, banner artwork and $150,000 in-game cash when they start multiplayer mode in Need for Speed Unbound. This cash will not be usable in the game’s single-player campaign. 

Apart from the Standard Edition, players can also buy the Need for Speed Unbound Palace Edition which offers four custom cars, a clothing pack, a driving effect, a license plate, decals, banner artwork and character pose. Members of EA Play Pro who buy the Need for Speed Unbound Palace Edition for PC will get to have their hands on the game on November 29, three days before the game officially launches. 

NFS Unbound to receive free updates post launch 

Need For Speed Unbound’s customisations, driving effects, character poses and cosmetics as well as of course its multiplayer functionality confirms it as another live-service game from EA. NFS will be receiving “a series of free content updates” after launch which will include new content drops and features, as per EA.

EA’s announcement also includes a look at A$AP Rocky’s Custom Mercedes 190E and players will be able to get their hands on this ride’s steering wheel in the game. For those interested, EA has also revealed the Need for Speed Unbound Car List. It has Ford Mustang GT in it and I can’t wait to drive it in this anime-style street racing world.
