PlayStation State of Play 2023- Here's everything announced on PSVR 2, Destiny 2, Street Fighter 6, Resident Evil 4 and more

A number of announcement trailers, including premieres, were showcased at the Sony PlayStation State of Play February 2023. Here's every single announcement that you need to know about.

Sony PlayStation’s first State of Play of the year was showcased on February 24, here in India. The highlights of the show includes an extended gameplay look of the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Three new characters for Street Fighter 6 were introduced as well. And more. Here’s everything new announced at Sony PlayStation’s February’s State of Play. 

PSVR 2 upcoming titles

On the occasion of the launch of the PS VR 2 earlier last week, the show started off with trailers of the new titles coming to the next-gen console later this year. These include Foglands, Green Hell, Synapse, Journey to Foundation and Before Your Eyes. While Journey to Foundation, based on the series by Isaac Asimov is coming this Autumn, Before Your Eyes will launch on March 10th, 2023.

Destiny 2 Lightfall

A new trailer was launched for Destiny 2 Lightfall. Lightfall, which will serve as the next major expansion to Destiny 2, is launching tomorrow on PS5 and PS4, along with Xbox Series X/S and PC. 

PlayStation Plus March 2023 games revealed

Indie game Tchia launching on March 21st will be a part of the PlayStation Plus games catalog of the month as a Day 1 Release. Other titles include Minecraft Dungeons, Battlefield 2042, CodeVein, Rainbows IX Extraction, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Ghostwire Tokyo and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. 

Humanity 

A trailer to announce the availability of the limited-time demo now playable was showcased. Humanity is coming to PS5, PS4, PSVR 2 and PS VR this May. 

Goodbye Volcano High

A new trailer confirmed the launch date of June 15, 2023 for PS5 and PS4. 

Naruto celebrates 20th Anniversary 

Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections has been announced on the occasion. The game will include 124 playable ninjas from Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto. 

Baldur’s Gate III

The game will be coming to PlayStation 5 on August 31, 2023, as per the announcement trailer from the latest PlayStation State of Play. 

Wayfinder

The upcoming survival action-RPG received a brand new gameplay trailer. Additionally, exclusive Early Access for PlayStation 4 and 5 was also announced. Early Access is available with the Founders Pack Program starting May 2023. However the next and the final closed Beta testing is slated to start tomorrow, 28th February.

Street Fighter 6

Three new characters made their debut- Cammy, Lily and Zangrief. They will be joining the roster of playable heroes for Street Fighter 6 which launches latest this year. 

Resident Evil 4

A new trailer was released for this upcoming, anticipated remake of another celebrated Resident Evil game. The trailer showed off the PS5 graphics upgrade.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League 

More than 15 minutes of gameplay was shown along with the developers from Rocksteady walking us through the combat and gear mechanics. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will also bring in a Battle Pass soon after the launch on May 26, 2023.
